I see a neon sign in shape of a palm on your aura…
I am (as you know) always on the lookout for talented readers. If you have contacted any of the people I have written about, you know most are fairly expensive. The service they provide is, after all, a very specialized one. The old adage - “you get what you pay for” is true (sometimes). I called a reader who was based in Texas, $27 for a reading. I called her, she had an opening within the hour.
And I won’t go too long but she gave me the “you’re life doesn’t work because there is some issue that you need cleared. I can clear it for $$$(several hundred dollars).” At first I was upset and that initial freak out of, “OMG - what is wrong? What does she see?” But then my natural instincts kicked in. I was totally annoyed. She did seem to have some talent, but then ruined it with the “gypsy curse” attempt. I was bound to meet some of these folks, in my search for the truly talented for you.
Remember this:
- People can only prey upon you if you let them
- Psychics aren’t always right
- Most of us are our own worst enemies and as such, we can change things for the better!
So me being me, I wanted to see how much of the BS would be fed to me. I asked her how long it took, she answered, “Oh well I would meditate and see what my guides have to say. Then I asked how long it normally took and what she did. She answered, “I go to holy ground because I have to protect myself.” I thought, Uh-huh. She told me the longest someone had work done by her was a year (!) She hastened to add, “I give a money back guarantee!” I doubt anyone who gets suckered into this sort of thing has the emotional ability to ask for their money back without being talked out of it by the psychic.
Then I asked her, “Do you have anything nice or cheerful to tell me? She said something like that was up to me. That was enough BS for one afternoon. I thanked her nicely (because my mother taught me good manners)and hung up. If I was a cartoon, I’d have had steam coming out of my ears. I just don’t appreciate people who are in sensitive professions, taking advantage or attempting to take advantage of people coming to them who are looking for help or guidance.
If you hear something about a curse, or a problem from a reader/healer and the price of the session goes up - then get out of there. I would say most people with integrity aren’t there to wipe out your bank account. And by all means, take some cleansing precautions. Clean your aura with a epsom salt bath (I run water hot as I can stand it, then pour about a pound of salts in and soak all of my body) and visualize your favorite protective symbol (Superman, Yoda, your mom, Jesus - whatever works for you) taking a sword and cutting any cords this person has tried to hook into you. And for God’s sake don’t call them again.
