angels protect you, you know
I recently had the great pleasure of having a reading with Sophy Burnham. She has been one of my favorite authors for many, many years. She is an incredible writer, wise and clear. You can almost hear her voice in your head, as you read. I had picked up her new book about intuition and read it cover to cover on the train. It is a great book if you are looking for an addition to the library you are building.
At any rate, she does “come out” as an intuitive in the book. She charges $100 for about an hour, and then additional after that. Our reading was by telephone. Although she prefers to hold an item that belongs to you to get her connection, she seemed just fine without it (in my opinion).
I had primarily asked for a reading because 1) it’s what I do and 2)I was wrestling with some questions that I had after a successful experience of actually GIVING a reading myself. She was able to pinpoint my emotional state in a highly illustrative way. She saw a fox, curled up on itself - tail to nose. And said she felt so tired. And yes, my friend - that IS how I feel most days. She saw my children and told me they were beautiful and that my husband gets a big kick out of me and my experiments into inner space and psychics.
She also advised me that I had to be very careful not to let the abilities get me distracted. That the true point of it all was the spiritual path and not the distractions of ability that come as you progress along the path. I think it is very sound advice and agree with her. It also let me off the hook as far as, well I can do this thing now what the heck do I do with it??? Because really, I have to do the laundry first or we won’t have any clean clothing left.
She also assured me that angels have charge over us (it was the subject of a couple of her books) and to ask for help, anytime. She assured me that help would arrive for me.
