Doreen Virtue
If you’ve been to the metaphysical shelves in a bookstore chances are you’ve seen Doreen Virtue’s books. She has written many books on various metaphysical subjects. About 12 years ago, I had contacted her about a reading. She told me she did not do psychic readings for payment but would do one as a sort of tithe to the Universe. She (at the time) had a year long waiting list for a reading. When the year rolled around, we got in touch and she did a reading for me. I am always a bit skeptical when people tell me they’re psychic, but I believe she has the gift.
My bedroom shared a wall with my brother’s room. Our beds were both against the wall of our respective bedrooms. I got on the phone with Doreen and she said immediately, “…who is the son or younger brother in your auric field? They are all over your field!” I got up and saying nothing moved across the room and she sighed immediately and said, “that’s better!” I don’t remember the rest of the reading well but that struck me as pretty good proof that she in California was able to read me in New York, over the phone.
I was not completely convinced about psychics back then but this incident was one of several that I now believe was Spirit reaching out to me. Doreen was lovely and kind. I enjoyed our reading and she was encouraging which helped me through a difficult time in my life. My favorite book of hers is, “The Lightworkers Way” in which she tells her story and also some good concrete ways to help make change happen, in your life.
