2nd hand story about a medium
A friend of mine has been searching for a medium since her father passed away 4 years ago. She recently told me about a medium she visited, along with 2 other people. Each session was 1 hour long and individual. It was a bit pricey - $160 for the session. here is our conversation:
Friend: So I sat down and he spends a few minutes doing psychic reading for you. Like what you are dealing with or what’s going on.
Maven: OK - did he come up with accurate information?
Friend: Yes! He saw that there were 2 major organizations merging and that there were lots of contracts. He also got my boss’ name - Robert.
Maven: Wow. OK. Go on. (my friend is in the midst of working out contracts for a joint corporate venture. )
Friend: Then he said a man was there who said he was my father. He said, “he tells me that his brain is not like melted cheese anymore, or swiss cheese.”
Maven: note - her father had Alzheimer’s Disease and had suffered from lesions in his brain - making his brain indeed literally like “swiss cheese”
Friend: He said, your father says you will know him because he mentions dance recitals. And Paris.
Maven: note - her lifelong dance recitals were a constant source of jokes for her dad, as he grumbled about going to them, but went faithfully to every single one. And right before he became incapacitated from Alzheimer’s she and her siblings sent their parents to Paris, a trip they had always wanted to take.
Friend: He also went on and said my mom talks to him daily and that he hears her, to tell her he hears her. And he’s with her.
Maven: note- her mom does indeed speak out loud to her deceased husband, throughout the day.
Friend: he said that my father said Heaven was amazing and he should have come earlier - he can create ANYTHING he wants. It’s a place of happiness and he’s so pleased. Also that he watches out for me and that he is with me.
Maven: How did the reading leave you feeling?
Friend: It left me thinking without a doubt that it was my dad and that he was ok, not the way he was when he died - which was terrible. It also left me feeling comforted, that they are still around us, even after they die and that they know what’s going on in our lives. They aren’t missing it.
Maven: Did he allow you to record it?
Friend: Yes - but warned that it might not come out, that sometimes the vibrations or something interfere with electrical machinery. But I think mine came out ok.
Maven: What did the other 2 people think?
Friend: Well, of the other 2, 1 girl had a bad reading - she got random people who had passed on, but not the specific one she was hoping for. And she got information for other people, so she was a little annoyed and felt like it was a waste of time. The other girl said that she felt it was the person she had come to hear from and got some really good details like I did. So 2 out of 3.
Maven: Sometimes, they are busy - even on the other side and can’t “come to the phone.”
Friend: I think so too.
I called the number for this person and finally got through, and he was booked until November. I’ve booked an appointment. I will report back when I myself have a reading, with details and contact information.
